Editorial standards

We will publish

• Prices a community published or gave us directly, with the date and source.
• Availability as the community stated it, dated, even when it changes a week later.
• The explicit absence of a fact — "not publicly disclosed" is information too.
• Photographs labeled honestly: an actual unit, or common space, never passed off as a unit.
• Every licensed community in our coverage area, whether or not it pays us anything.

We will not publish

• Estimated or modeled prices presented as real ones.
• Our own aggregate rating or score. Reviews belong to the platforms that collected them.
• Restated or summarized state survey findings — we link to the record instead.
• Stock photography presented as a community's own.
• Medical or placement advice. We publish facts; care decisions belong with families and clinicians.

Sponsorship never changes a fact

Sponsored placement is labeled wherever it affects ordering. A sponsor's profile shows the same fields, the same freshness badges, and the same "not disclosed" statements as everyone else's. The details are on the disclosure page.

No invented data

Every profile in the index is a real, named community, checked directly against its own site, a phone call, or a state licensing record. We never attach an invented price, availability figure, or review count to the name of a real community — where a figure is missing, the profile says the community declined to disclose it rather than estimating one.
